Filet Crochet Bunny Blanket

Seeing Bunnies? I know I am!

Filet crochet can be so much fun because you can make an image on your work and at the same time it is subtle and can almost go unnoticed. The lacy open work is just open enough in my option and still is warm and cozy.

FREE PATTERN

Yes! This is a free pattern and you can find it on yarnspirations. I have also made a tutorial on this pattern and try to explain how to read the graph provided in the pattern. I hope it helps!

What yarn to use?

You can use any worsted weight yarn (4) you like for this pattern. I used an off brand acrylic and I would suggest using something nicer like this Red Heart with love yarn. Or another brand I love is Lion Brand. Whatever you choose I’m sure it will be just right! This rust or pumpkin color I found very woodsy.

How BIG???

My finished blanket size: About 43″ by 54″ . That is 4 bunnies tall and 4 bunnies wide. Very cozy and a nice lap blanket size for an adult.

I used an H 5.00 mm crochet hook from my favorite set. You can check them out HERE.

I also love these easy to thread wool needles.

I hope you find my tutorial helpful to make this lovely blanket. Thank you so much for watching! Please let me know what you think in the comments here or in the comment section on YouTube.
