For my shawl I used Red Heart super saver ombre in color way DEEP TEAL. I love how the darks and the lights meet up. I only used 2 skeins for my shawl using the G4.25mm hook.
This crochet project uses the German Shells or the Virus Stitch, a half double crochet block stitch, a V stitch and finishes off with a lovable picot edging though that is optional and only found in the written pattern.

This shawl measures 68 inches across the top and 35 inches from middle/top to point. This pattern repeats though, so if you want it bigger, go for it! Just make sure to grab a few extra skeins of yarn!
This repeat is very useful if you wanted to make this shawl using a thinner yarn. It would be lighter and have more drape. You could even use it as a triangle scarf.

I hope you enjoy making this lovely Victoria’s German Shells Shawl! Thank you so much for your kind comments and support.
Have a lovely crochet day and thank you for the visit here.
There is also a left handed tutorial. Check that out below.
