Victoria’s German Shells Shawl

Familiar stitches making new designs. The Victoria’s German shells shawl is lacy, romantic and elegant. This shawl is a paid pattern on ETSY or RAVELRY helping to support a FREE tutorial on my YOUTUBE channel. (left and right handed!) Thank you for your purchases and for watching!

For my shawl I used Red Heart super saver ombre in DEEP TEAL. I love how the darks and the lights meet up. I only used 2 skeins for my shawl using the G4.25mm hook. What color will you make yours?

This shawl uses the German shells or virus stitch, a half double crochet block stitch, a V stitch and finishes off with a lovable picot edging though that is optional.

This shawl measures 68 inches across the top and 35 inches from middle/top to point of shawl. This pattern repeats though, so if you want it bigger, go for it! Just make sure to grab a few extra skeins of yarn!

I hope you enjoy making this royal shawl! Thank you so much for your kind comments and support.

Have a lovely crochet day, Jonna
