For this shawl, I used Red Heart Super Saver ombre and an 8mm L hook. The shawl is 34 inches from the center to the point. You can easily customize this shawl to be larger or smaller. Just like the blankets, this shawl has only 4 repeat rows.
The Blankets
YES! You can make this shawl as a square blanket or a rectangle blanket! (other patterns in the works as well) Both of these blankets also have video tutorials!
I just finished Grandma’s German Shells. That’s the 3rd pattern I’ve done of yours. I’m a beginner and you make it so easy to follow along. That’s why I love your you tube videos. You are my favorite person to watch because you do the entire tutorial. Which is so helpful because I can see that my work is coming along like it’s supposed to. I’m thinking of trying the pineapple shawl but not sure what the will level would be considered. What would you rate the skill level at?
Hi Julie, I am so happy to hear this! I would rate the pineapple at advanced beginner only because then you can really recognize the repeats as you go. I think if you enjoyed the GGS you would be able to work up the pineapple shawl! Thank you for choosing my patterns and taking the time to leave a comment! Have a wonderful day!
