I found this crochet pattern on Red Heart patterns a while ago. I’ve never made socks before and the pattern seemed pretty simple. I printed it off and the put to with some pretty yarn then promptly forgot about it.
In the mean time I got some requests for a video doing socks.
I was then digging out my office and there is the sock stuff. So I started filming.
I made the ruff choice of filming it with two other projects so as a result it took me that much longer to release it. Live an learn. It is out now and ready to watch!

I used a fingering/sock weight yarn off of eBay. A 100% wool yarn in a hand dyed mix of colors. They are certainly colorful crochet socks!
The gauge was tricky for me. Make sure you check, otherwise your socks may come out much to big or much too small. I had to down some to a D – 3.125 MM crochet hook.
