Materials:
- ▪ 3.5mm crochet hook
- ▪ Worsted Weight Yarn Yellow and Whiteand Green
- ▪ Scissors
- ▪ Yarn needle
- ▪ Stitch markers (4-5)
Stitch Abbreviations:
ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
st/sts = stitch/stitches hdc = half double crochet sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
sp = space
Notes:
-I used Hobby Lobby I love this cotton in 06 White Sparkle and Red Heart in Bright Yellow.

-You can also make this flower in other yarns and threads. I like to choose a smaller hook for a tight stiff finished flower.
My flower is about 3 inches in diameter/8cm. You can adjust your hook as you like but I recommend a smaller hook than the yarn recommends for a stiffer finished flower.
Square is about 4.5” unblocked.
In Yellow: ch 4, sl st to 1st ch to form a ring (you may also substitute a magic ring for this if you
wish)
Rnd 1. ch 2 (counts as 1st hdc) hdc 15 into the ring, sl st to top of ch 2. (16sts)
Rnd 2. ch 1, sc into each st, sl st to first st to finish, cut yarn, pull tail though last loop. (16sts)
Rnd 3. With WHITE: *ch 3, dc into same st, ch 2, hdc 4 onto dc st post, sl st into next st* repeat for each petal around flower. sl st into same sp as yarn join. (16 petals)

Rnd 4. sl st 3 up the first chain made *ch 2, sc into top pf next ch 3* repeat around, sl st into 1st sl st to join. (16 ch 2 spaces)
