Cozy Cabin Scarf is a beautiful and easy scarf to work up for all your friends and family or even for craft fairs. The written pattern comes in 5 sizes from toddler to large adult. You can find it on Etsy or Ravelry. It also matches the lovely Cozy Cabin Beanie hat HERE.
There is a FREE TUTORIAL in the small adult size for you to check out as well. Let me know what you think in the comments here or on my channel.
FREE Small adult size if you keep reading:
- L (8.00mm) crochet hook or N (9mm)
- Super Bulky Weight Yarn (6) 212yrds/340gto 424yrds/680g
- Scissors
- Tape measure
- Yarn needle
If you are using ANY other brand yarn (acrylic, some other mix) you MUST automatically size UP your crochet hook. I got different results by making a scarf in Wool EASE and one in 100% Acrylic. Both super bulky yarns!
-Please read the gauge pattern information.
This pattern does not have a gauge pattern because many people think it’s a waste of time and think they are pro enough to skip it. To get the proper size, you will measure you work after row 1 for scarf length. If it is too short you will start AGAIN and go UP a hook size (or add more chains) if it is too long you will go DOWN a hook size (or make less chains). That is not my fault. It is called gauge and tension. If you still have questions, I would be happy to have a conversation. Message me.
