Crochet Baby Onesie/Romper

Hello everyone! I fell in love with this super cute little baby wear I found in the free patterns Red Heart provides. It is called Floral onesie and Hat pattern. I didn’t add the flowers to mine, But its super cute both ways!

I decided to make a Hat tutorial and a Onesie tutorial. You can find them on my Youtube channel. Both videos have left and right handed versions.

For this onesie tutorial I had to move along quite quickly to fit everything in a 30 or under minuet video. My internet has been the worst and anything over 30 minuets takes days to upload. I’m not kidding, DAYS. So unfortunately you’ll have to hover over that pause button. So sorry! But hoping you find the video useful as a visual helper to the pattern.

For yarn I used Creme De La Creme Yarn. It is a very soft high quality cotton yarn. I love using cotton for baby items. It is good for sensitive skin and does not hold on to bacteria like acrylics can. They are so many amazing colors to pick from. I want to make one in these coffee colors!

I also used the recommended H 5.00mm crochet hook and two wood buttons. The buttons were a bit small, a little over an inch so I’ll need to sew the button holes smaller.

The Romper/onesie is sized at 0-6 months. I think that looks about right. Can’t wait to try mine on a baby! In inches mine came to 15 inches around and 11.5 inches from collar to folded button area.
